We are delighted to announce that our Dancing Together programme for babies and toddlers has been shortlisted
in 2023’s Fantastic for Families Awards as Best Family Arts Activity amongst 8 other fantastic projects around the UK.
Whatever the outcome we are really delighted that this community programme has been recognised for the impact it makes on families.
And we thank Mafe Toledo for her work in its development and delivery ably supported by Miia, Ellie and Lily.
Thanks also to the families and centres who have hosted the programme so far ! And to the Sports Unites Mayor of London, Peabody fund, and Haringey Community Chest who have all funded blocks of the programme to run.
We have worked hard to offer free dance sessions for families in local children’s centres and even schools. Dancing Together is still running into 2024 thanks to current funding from The London Marathon Active Spaces Fund. We hope to be able to keep developing this programme for more families to access it going forward if you would like to support Dancing Together get in touch !
