Forgotten Stories

Forgotten Stories is a theatrically led interactive experience for KS1&2 Children. Designed to capture children’s imagination, Forgotten Stories will encourage a sense of exploration, research and deduction that will inspire children’s creative and persuasive writing.

A team of researchers working in the area have discovered a mystery that has led them to your school. Setting up their command centre in the school hall, the research team will spend 2 weeks working with the classes within their research pod, exploring sensory and tactile items from the natural world, old curios and historic memorabilia and with the children’s help they will hopefully uncover the Forgotten Stories that lay within these objects.

    Testimonials

“They really felt for Eliott when she ran away. Some were able to recall very clearly what the writing tasks were about and had lots of rich details.

    Earlham Primary 2023

“Enjoyable and creative. Inspiring to think of alternative ways to teach English and bring the subject alive”

    Belmont Juniors 2023

“One boy who is usually reluctant was very enthusiastic to write and the fact that there was a purpose to his writing made it more meaningful!”

    Year 5 Teacher

“At a time when children are missing out on so many of their usual extra curricular activities, it was so great to see them get involved in something with a bit of magic and sparkle. Consideration had clearly been given to make the sessions as covid safe as possible. Thank you and can’t wait to see what you come up with next!”

“The assemblies, the workshops, the object handling sessions, they were all fabulous. The story had them hooked from the start”
