Play Based Projects

In response to the views of families in the pandemic about the lack of opportunities for messy play and multi-sensory projects we have developed a number of projects for early years settings encouraging free play and playing together supported by Haringey Giving and Comic Relief. We have transformed Children’s Centre spaces and environments to encourage a range of family play experiences.

Play Labs explored three different environment transformations one with paint play, another with box play, and a final session with lights and sound.

Space to Create explored light and sound environments for both babies and toddlers including building environments with materials, projection, and light boxes.

“This session was out of this world this activity was very calm and the children Were captivated and engaged I would recommend this to the nursery in the future”
